Congratulations to our 2017 RTC Scholarship Winners


ShayLee Billadeau is the daughter of Wade and Michelle Billadeau. She is a senior at Parshall High School. She has been active in Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cheerleading, Yearbook, 4-H, and Hi-League. This fall ShayLee plans to attend North Dakota State University for Agri-Business and Accounting. She hopes this will allow her the opportunity to stay involved in her family farm and ranch, as well as seek employment in the business world.



Hunter DeFoe is the son of Tim and Stacy DeFoe. He is a senior at Watford City High School. He has been active in Cross Country, Nation Youth Leadership Forum in Engineering and Technology, Track, and works at Jack and Jill. This fall, Hunter plans to attend Dickinson State University for Computer Science. He hopes to use his degree to become a computer programmer, computer engineer, robotics. This will enable him to work on cyber security to help his community be safe while on the Internet or to help others who have a disability by making a new robot to help them.



Kathryn Handeland is the daughter Emmy and Jeremy Handeland. She is a senior at Kenmare High School and is active in FBLA, FFA, Basketball, and Volleyball. This fall, Kathryn plans to attend the University of Mary for Finance and Accounting. She hopes to move back to her hometown once she gets her degree in accounting to open her own business with her chiropractic degree.



Mackenzie Jacobson is the daughter of Brent and Cindy Jacobson. She is a senior at Garrison High School and is active as the President of FBLA and National Honor Society. She is also on the Varsity Golf team, and is the Vice President of her class. This fall, Mackenzie plans to attends North Dakota State University for Business Administration. She hopes to move back Garrison to start up her own smaller business or to help a business that is already established to become even better.
