Parental Controls Instructions
If you have Standard TV, call RTC to order the event. Go to channel 101 to see what’s available for purchase and call RTC at 888.862.3115 or 862.3115 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday) to place your order. Payment is due when the order is placed. DO NOT ORDER USING YOUR REMOTE – it will disrupt your service.
If you have Advanced TV, use your remote to order the event. Go to channel 101 to see what’s available for purchase. Highlight the show you’d like to watch, and press “OK” to purchase. Your purchases will be included on your monthly RTC bill.
If you are unsure of what service you have, check your RTC bill to see which service you have or call RTC at 888.862.3115 or 862.3115 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday).
To control who in your household is able to order Pay-Per-View, you can set-up parental controls on each of your set-top boxes. Please note: Pay-Per-View is not available to non-residential establishments.
Our seasonal disconnect plans work well for customers needing their RTC services disconnected during the summer or winter. When you go on a disconnect plan your telephone number will be saved and listed in the new directory and your Internet username will also be saved. For the following one-time fees your services will be disconnected when you contact us and they will be automatically reconnected on November 1 for summer disconnects or May 1 for winter disconnects. Please contact us if you would like to reconnect your services prior to these dates.
*Some restrictions may apply. If you are a WildBlue Satellite Speed Internet customer, you will be billed $6.65 per month while you are away. This will give you continued access to your email account. Your WildBlue service will automatically return to full service with the full monthly charge on May 1 (Winter Disconnect Plan) or November 1 (Summer Disconnect Plan). If you need it back to full service prior to these dates, you can contact RTC.
